UMass Lowell String Project

The UMass Lowell string project, founded in 2001 is a K-12 Music education program that brings classical strings education to students across the Merrimack Valley. . The String Project is a member of the National String Project Consortium, which is composed of over 40 other String Projects located at major universities around the country.

Emma has been teaching for string project for three years. She currently runs the two first year classes, called “Allegro”. She also co-conducts the Lowell Youth Orchestra. She has previously taught and conducted in the Presto and Vivace ensembles, which are the 3rd and 4th year ensembles, respectively.

Music Academy of Chelmsford

Emma is also experienced in private instruction. She is currently in her 3rd year of teaching at Music Academy of Chelmsford, located in Chelmsford Massachusetts. Here, she has maintained a studio of 15 violin, viola and cello students of all ages. She also instructs the “Musical Voyager” classes, in which children aged 2-7 have the opportunity to learn basic piano skills and try a variety of instruments.
